We have no formal ‘membership’ at Vineyard, so becoming part of the Church is really easy! We love new people coming to join us!
If you’re new to Aylesbury Vineyard, these are some of the things we encourage, to help you find your place and to get to know people in the Church.
Our Sunday morning services are the main event of the week, so coming regularly means you’ll get to know people and make friends, and feel part of the Church.
We were all made to be part of a community — not just isolated individuals — so there’s something special when we come together to catch up with each other, enjoy the presence of God in worshipping and praying together, and invite God to speak to us.
Coming regularly also means you won’t miss out on the teaching from week-to-week. You’ll get to know about Vineyard as a Church more quickly and stay in touch first-hand with everything that’s happening.
We hold regular welcome events for people who are thinking about making Aylesbury Vineyard their Church. This will usually be a complimentary lunch in the Café, after a Sunday service.
It provides the chance to get to know Steve and Lyn and some of the other leaders, hear about the history of the Church, ask lots of questions and meet other newcomers as well. After lunch there’s an opportunity to take a tour of Storehouse. Naturally, all of that’s without any obligation to sign-up to anything or commit to anything!
For the next date, please enquire at the Information Desk on a Sunday, or contact the Church Office.
Joining a Connect Group is a great way to connect beyond Sundays, especially in a larger Church setting. They’re the perfect place to make friends, to help each other grow spiritually and to feel part of the Aylesbury Vineyard family.
We encourage everyone who sees Vineyard as their Church to join a Group!
We really welcome people getting involved and serving on teams, especially on a Sunday morning. It’s a great way of contributing to what’s happening and to get to know people and make friends. The only qualification you need to have is wanting to help!
Different roles and teams have different requirements, though, so the best place to start is to contact the Church Office, so we can chat to you about possibilities.
Being financially committed to Christ’s Kingdom can’t be separated from being committed to Christ! God wants us to be people who love to be generous, just as he loves to be generous to us!
We’re called to be contributors to the financing of his Kingdom, not just consumers — we encourage everyone in the Church to help provide the resources we need to do things well and demonstrate God’s generosity in what we give away to those in need outside the Church.
For those with bank accounts and a regular income who see Aylesbury Vineyard as ‘my Church’, we encourage giving by monthly standing order, since that enables us to budget and plan what we are able to do.
If you’re a UK taxpayer, please note that we can also claim Gift Aid from your donation, of an additional 25p for every £1.00 you give, from HM Revenue & Customs. Please tick the ‘UK Taxpayer’ box if this applies to you. Thank you.

If you would like to amend an existing standing order, please contact your bank directly; this can normally be done through your online banking. Alternatively, set up a standing order from your bank by providing them with our bank details:
If you complete a ‘Connect Card’ on a Sunday, we’ll send you our weekly email and keep you updated about what’s happening in the life of the Church week-to-week. Or, you can fill in your details online:
We’ll also explain how to sign up to My ChurchSuite, which is a great online tool that helps you keep on top of your personal details and involvement with Aylesbury Vineyard, including serving on a team, signing up for events and managing your giving.
