We have no formal ‘membership’ at Vineyard, so becoming part of the Church is really easy! We love new people coming to join us!
If you’re new to Aylesbury Vineyard, these are some of the things we encourage, to help you find your place and to get to know people in the Church.
Our Sunday morning services are the main event of the week, so coming regularly means you’ll get to know people and make friends, and feel part of the Church.
We were all made to be part of a community — not just isolated individuals — so there’s something special when we come together to catch up with each other, enjoy the presence of God in worshipping and praying together, and invite God to speak to us.
Coming regularly also means you won’t miss out on the teaching from week-to-week. You’ll get to know about Vineyard as a Church more quickly and stay in touch first-hand with everything that’s happening.
New here?
We would love to meet you on a Sunday morning, please do come and introduce yourself to one of the leadership team before or after the service.
We also run a Newcomer’s Connect Group twice a year, which is a great opportunity to hear about our ‘Vineyard Values’ as well as meeting other new people.
If you complete an online ‘Connect Card’, we’ll send you our weekly email and keep you updated about what’s happening in the life of the Church week-to-week.
Small Groups
Joining a Homegroup or a Connect Group is a great way to connect beyond Sundays, especially in a larger Church setting. They’re the perfect place to make friends, to help each other grow spiritually and to feel part of the Aylesbury Vineyard family.
We encourage everyone who sees Vineyard as their Church to join a Group! Click here for details of the latest groups that are running.
Join a Team
We really welcome people getting involved and serving on teams, especially on a Sunday morning. It’s a great way of contributing to what’s happening and to get to know people and make friends. The only qualification you need to have is wanting to help! Contact the Church Office to find out more.
Alpha Courses
Got lots of meaningful questions about God? Never really understood Christianity? Maybe you gave up on it a long time ago. Alpha was designed for you, or anyone who doesn't go to Church much, if at all. Alpha is a 10-week series of interactive sessions, exploring the challenging questions about life and faith in a relaxed and informal environment, where everyone's allowed to say what they think and ask whatever questions they want. We regularly run Alpha courses throughout the year, online and in-person.
Subjects include: Who is Jesus? Why Did Jesus Die? Why the Bible? What About the Church? How Should I Pray?
27 million people have been on an Alpha in 169 countries and 112 languages. Why not give it a try?
If you have questions about the course or would like to be notified of when the next course is running, please email the Church Office.
