WE ARE NOT JUST A SUNDAY CHURCH

What happens on Sundays?

We passionately believe God wants people to know him personally and to experience him and our Services are where we encourage space for this. The Service starts with a short time of contemporary worship, led by a live band. Lyrics are projected on big screens — feel free to stand, sit, join in or just listen. Then there's a short Bible-based talk that’s practical and relevant to everyday life, followed by an opportunity to receive prayer if you wish, or you can just catch up with your friends!

Every Sunday, there’s a welcome team ready to answer questions — including where to find everything from coffee/tea and biscuits, to the Children and Youth activities. We hope you'll feel at home!

New and want to know more about the church click here.

We're always passionate about loving and caring for people, both within and outside the Church. During the week we provide practical support for people in need through Storehouse.

Where to park

Guest and visitors can park at the Vineyard Centre, as well as anyone who is mobility impaired and parents with small children. Additional free parking is available on the road approaching the church or the Sainsbury's Store carpark on Gatehouse Road opposite Gatehouse Way. The Vineyard Centre is wheelchair-accessible.

How can I stay up-to-date with what's happening?

Vineyard Kids

Vineyard Kids

Kids Groups (in person at the Vineyard Centre)

We’d love you to join us at Vineyard Kids! We have a full programme of activities for all children aged 1 and above on Sunday mornings. The numbers of children in each group are limited according to the ratios of helpers to children, so there is a free ticketing system in place, via the ‘Families Update’ email sent out each week (see below).

We offer a number of kids groups for children of different ages to have fun, get to know each other and learn about Jesus. Each group meets in person, so when you sign-up for your place, make sure you check the arrangements beforehand to know where to go for your group. We’d love to welcome you whether you’ve been to us before or not!

  • Embers (children age 1–3 yrs)
  • Ignite (children aged 3 to end of Reception)
  • Bright Stars (children in school yrs 1–3)
  • Fantastic Flames (children in school yrs 4–5)
  • Blazing Angels (children in school yrs 6–8)

The easiest way to find out the details is via the Families Update email which we send out to parents and carers each week. To receive this email please sign-up here, remembering to register your children. Alternatively, please contact the Church Office, or have a look on the calendar.

Our “Embers” and “Ignite” children’s rooms, toilet, entrances and storage were developed by means of a “Growing Lives” Grant from AllChurches Trust

Vineyard Youth

Vineyard Youth

Vineyard Youth

If you’re aged 11–17 then Vineyard Youth involves you! We do stuff like fun games and learning more about God through interactive activities and informal discussion. If you're new or have been coming to Vineyard for a while we'd love to see you at 11.30 am on Sundays! As spaces are limited please book your ticket to avoid disappointment.

The Youth meet in the Main Service at 11.30 am and go to their Youth Room during the break after the worship. Watch this space for details of our evening events coming up! Please note there is no Youth group at the 9.30 Service.

Reset Youth Activity

Reset is held during term time on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month 7pm-9pm and is a great opportunity for youth to meet, connect with each other and hang out after a busy week. There will be pizza, a tuck shop (bring small change please!), consoles, board games, card games and group games.

It takes place in the Youth Room at the Vineyard Centre.

Signup from the the weekly e-newsletter.

If you have any questions, please contact our Head of Youth Ministry, Luke Martin, or the Church Office.

Joining a Small Group…

Joining a Small Group is a great way to connect beyond Sundays, especially in a larger Church setting. They’re the perfect place to make friends, to help each other grow spiritually and to feel part of the Aylesbury Vineyard family.

We encourage everyone who sees Vineyard as their Church to join a Group! Click here for details of the latest groups that are running.

Join a Team…

We really welcome people getting involved and serving on teams, especially on a Sunday morning. It’s a great way of contributing to what’s happening and to get to know people and make friends. The only qualification you need to have is wanting to help! Contact the Church Office to find out more.
