Visiting Us: Accessibility Quick Guide
We want your visit to The Vineyard Centre to be as smooth and welcoming as possible. Here is a quick summary of our facilities.
Parking: Free on-site parking with designated accessible bays directly near the entrance (flat, paved surface).
Entrance: Step-free, level access through double doors straight into reception.
Building Layout: Ground-floor, step-free access to the main auditorium, café, Storehouse, and primary children's rooms.
First Floor Youth Room: Vineyard Youth meets in the Youth Room on the first floor. Step-free access to the upper level is provided via a stair lift.
Toilets: Accessible toilet with support rails and emergency pull cord on the ground floor; baby-changing facilities available.
Seating: Flexible arrangements—wheelchair users can sit anywhere in the auditorium alongside family and friends.
Food Allergies & Intolerances: Gluten-free and dairy-free options are regularly provided for communion and café refreshments. Please let our Hospitality Team know of any specific allergies or dietary needs when ordering or taking communion.
Emergency Evacuation (PEEP): If you require specific assistance or a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) in the event of a building evacuation—including step-free egress from the first floor—please contact our team prior to your visit or let a member of our Welcome Team know on arrival.
Sensory Environment: Live band during worship. The café offers a quieter space if you need a break from the main auditorium during the service.
Hearing Loop and BSL: we have induction hearing loop to support those with hearing loss and there is usually BSl signing during the sung worship.
Assistance Dogs: Accredited assistance dogs welcome throughout (water bowls provided on request).
